Powder Characterization

 

We utilize various powder characterization systems for determine the size and morphology of powders. 

​

Marvern Spraytec system is available to perform submircor particle sizing. 

Spray Characterization

​

We utilise several different spray characterization systems:

​

Direct spray imaging instruments: We use Mazlite imaging system for this type of characterization. These instruments take microscopic pictures of sprays and using an image analysis software, determine the droplet sizes. 

​

Phase Doppler Anemometry: We use Dantec PDA system for local droplet sizing. These systems are more complex to use and difficult to setup. However, they can provide higher resolution in local droplet sizing.
